Our History Northwind Farm began as an
idea of Betty Will to incorporate her love of
miniature horses with her desire to help children.
Many friends and interested individuals in the
community contributed their ideas and enthusiasm.
The common thread between all those that helped
was their belief that individuals challenged with
emotional, behavioral or mental health issues benefit
from the interaction with horses.
Our Mission is to provide equine assisted
learning activities to enhance the quality of life for
children who have special needs and to promote the
awareness of the role miniature horses can play in
our health and well being.
